随着免签等便于外籍人士来华（或从港澳进入内地/从台湾进入大陆）政策落地并实施，以及更多外籍人士入境需求，不少外国朋友希望了解如何符合中国铁路实名票务要求，顺利搭乘高速铁路。因此，现做简单介绍。（请留意：如果搭乘普速列车，实名证件情况与高速铁路一样。） More foreign nationals?are visiting China (or coming to the mainland from Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan), and here, visa waivers are doing their thing! The ID-based ticketing requirement extends to all from abroad. To ensure you can travel throughout the network, here’s a look at what ID can be accepted. (Note: the same ID rules apply if you are travelling on Classic Rail services.)??????????????????外国人护照所有外国护照（即：非中国护照）都可使用。大部分外国人会使用普通护照，这种护照一般可以正常使用。如果您使用其它类别护照，如紧急护照或外交护照，可以留意文内末端的一些备注资讯。个别国家，如爱尔兰或美国，也会签发护照卡；不过，建议各位使用常规的护照簿。Foreign PassportsAll non-Chinese passports can be used. Please note that an ordinary passport is the type encountered with most foreign nationals, and works without significant problems — see special notes near the end if you use other documents, such as emergency or diplomatic passports.A passport booklet is generally expected, so it’s best to use this in lieu of your passport card (issued in some countries, such as Ireland or the US).中华人民共和国外国人永久居留身份证经批准取得中国境内永久居留资格的外籍人士，可以使用这个永久居留身份证乘车旅行。这个证件其实使用范围最广，可以在自动售票机上使用，也可以直接将卡「拍」在自动检票闸口通行，与中国公民相同。值得一提，这是由中国政府机关（中华人民共和国国家移民管理局）签发的有效身份证件。请留意：于 2023 年 11 月 30 日及之前签发的这类证件，证号由 3 个英文字母及 12 位数字组成；由 2023 年 12 月 1 日及之后签发的证件，包括现在签发的证件，其证号由 18 位数字组成（类似于中国居民身份证）。如果你的永久居留身份证上既有拉丁字母外语姓名，又有汉字姓名，可以选择使用中文或是外文姓名。请勿输入证上姓名的逗号。PRC Foreign Permanent Resident ID CardForeign nationals approved for permanent residency in the Mainland of China may use their PRC-issued Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card. This is the most versatile ID document for foreign nationals, since it can be used on machines, and users simply touch and go on automated readers at gates and elsewhere, just like locals. It’s important to note that this is a valid ID document issued by the Chinese government (PRC National Immigration Administration).Be aware: cards issued on and before 30 November 2023 have 3 letters followed by 12 digits, whereas those issued on and after 01 December 2023, including new cards issued now, have 18 digits only (just like local ID) for the card number.If your card has a Chinese name in addition to your name in Latin characters, you can use either for ticketing. Just ignore the comma in your name.港澳居民来往内地通行证（非中国籍） 在中国的香港或澳门特别行政区已经取得永久居留身份的非中国籍人士，可以申领港澳居民来往内地通行证（非中国籍）。这个证件将会有中华人民共和国出入境管理局签发，有效期 5 年，期间可多次入境内地，每次停留时间不超过 90 日；但单凭此证，不可在内地工作、学习或是从事新闻采访等活动。如永久居留身份证一样，如果证件上既有拉丁字母外语姓名，又有汉字姓名，可以选择使用中文或是外文姓名，不过如果使用中文姓名，只可使用简体字姓名，不可使用繁体字姓名。请勿输入证上姓名的逗号。上述三类证件均可于售票柜台及中国铁路 12306 线上票务系统使用。如果在使用当中，无法使用自助设备或闸口，请移步至人工通道。这些通道一般位于左右侧顶端，个别地方则位于正中间。 PRC Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong/Macau Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens)Foreign nationals settled in the Hong Kong or Macau Special Administrative Regions holding permanent residence ID of either region can apply for a Mainland Travel Permit for non-Chinese citizens. This will be issued by the PRC Exit/Entry Administration and is good for multiple journeys for up to 90 days per visit, and the card itself is good for 5 years. However, this card on its own does not permit employment, studies, or to become a journalist?on the Mainland of China. Like the PRC Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, if your card has a Chinese name in addition to your name in Latin characters, you can use either for ticketing. Just ignore the comma in your name. However, you must key in your Chinese name in simplified, not standard traditional, characters.All three ID documents listed above work at least with ticket counters, and online with the China Railways 12306 ticketing system. If you experience problems with automated ticket barriers, use the assisted passage, usually found to the side, or on occasion, in the middle.其它证件一般而言，如果你使用下列证件，则需要前往柜台办理票务，而可能不能在线上购票。如果你的护照正留在出入境办理签证/许可申领或延期/换发等，你可能得到了一份回执。这张回执可能是印在黄色的纸张上。此回执会载有你的个人资料和护照号码。你可使用该回执搭乘列车。如果你不幸丢失护照，护照报失声明及紧急护照或旅行证件都可以使用。不过，后者应载有中国政府签发的有效护照或停留许可。如果你有中国政府签发的外国人出入境证，同样可以使用该证。Other ID DocumentsGenerally, if you are using these ID documents, you will need to go to a staffed ticket counter and might not be able to buy online or using machines.If your passport is with Immigration for visa/permit processing, you may have received a yellow Certificate of Application. This will have your personal details and passport number on it and can be used in lieu of your passport to travel.If unfortunately you have lost your passport, both the passport loss report and an emergency passport/travel document can be accepted. However, the latter should bear a valid visa or stay permit issued by China.If you have a PRC-issued Alien Exit/Entry Permit, this can be used as well.特殊情况 / 身份出生在家庭成员有不同国籍的国家，而其中一个国籍为中国籍，以及当事人出生于国籍属地主义的境外司法领域并因此得到不同国籍，而其中一个国籍为中国籍，可能被中国政府认定为具有「国籍冲突」情况，并不由中国政府承认其外国国籍。在这些情况下，中国政府可能会签发给这些人士中华人民共和国出入境通行证或中华人民共和国旅行证。这些证件都可用于实名票务。外交官及其它承担公务人士应当可以凭其护照（如外交护照）注册 12306 票务系统并使用此护照旅行。不过，如果在此过程中出现问题，可以前往最近的铁路车站，或是致电 12306 客服电话（设有英文服务），以便获得协助。如果你为无国籍人士，或持有非护照签发国护照（如旅行证件，非本国人士护照），请在旅行前与铁路联系，他们可能会帮助你。Special Circumstances / IDPersons born in a family with different citizenships, where one involves China, as well as persons born in jus soli jurisdictions where the person has different citizenships, also one involving China, may have dual or multiple citizenship involving PRC citizenship. In these special circumstances, the Chinese authorities will see this situation as a “nationality conflict”, and not recognise any foreign citizenship held by this person, and in such cases will issue this person either a PRC Exit/Entry Permit or a PRC Travel Document. Both, too, are accepted for travel.Diplomats and other persons in public service should be able to register on the China Railways 12306 ticketing system and travel with their respective passports (eg: diplomatic passports). However, a visit to a railway station, or a phone call to the China Railway 12306 hotline (they speak English!) will be advised if there are problems registering a China Railway 12306 online ticketing account.If you are stateless, or hold a non-citizen passport (eg: travel document, passport for aliens), you should inquire with the railways before you travel. They may be able to help.
